Reiki

Reiki...an ancient art of "laying on hands", utilizing the Usui Ryoho, Karuna, Sehkem-Seichem, Tibetan methods and many others. These methods are taught at "The Center" by Susan. They are used for stress reduction, relaxation and to promote the body's innate healing ability. Each modality has a different frequency vibrationally and resonates to different people at differing times and in differing situations. Based upon the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through all of us and when we are stressed or ill this energy is low. A practitioner or master will then work as an instrument through which this Reiki energy flows. One is supported and assisted to peace and well-being in body, mind, and spirit. Reiki energy has proven to be effective in helping every illness and always creates a beneficial effect, working extremely well with traditional medical or other alternative healing methods. These simple to learn techniques are passed from a Reiki Master during what is called an "attunement" to the student allowing the student to open a channel to this unlimited source of "life force energy."

Usui Reiki

The Usui method was discovered by Dr.Usui during a mystical experience on Mt. Kurama and in turn passed it to Dr. Hayashi who in turn passed it to Mrs. Takata. Mrs. Takata brought us Usui Reiki in a westernized version. Further study in 1999, by Frank Petter revealed new information regarding Dr. Usui's Techniques as he originally taught in the east. Susan shares and teaches Usui and these rediscovered techniques.

Karuna® Reiki

Dragon Karuna® Reiki was developed by William Rand after discovering various non-traditional symbols and attunement techniques. Some of the symbols are used by other schools of thought.The attunements and intention are different and the energies connected to Karuna® are unique to this system. The energy of Karuna® has been stated as a very powerful "next step in the vibrational growth of Reiki".

Sehkem-Seichim-Reiki

Picture of Hathor Sehkem-Seichim-Reiki is a combination of three energies...Sehkem, Seichim and Reiki. Sehkem was discovered by Patrick Zeigler after he spent the night in the Kings' Chamber of a pyramid in Egypt and received an energy infusion that he later transferred to others. Diane Shewmaker had an experience in one of his classes that led to the energy of Seichim, hence Sehkem-Seichim and Reiki. The third energy being that of Usui Reiki. This powerful system can include the Usui Reiki Master training.
